Nominate a POC or a coordiantor for every week. You can make 2 people as the coordinator.
As a round-robin pls distribute roles, tasks and presentations to all members.

How the teams will work? Rough schedule
As a team, you will meet daily for a standup or a quick update call. 15-45 minutes.
You will spend between 3 to 5 hours each week day on the project.
Interact with your team through chat as much as you can. Skype, G Talk. Whatsapp.
Create your simple email distribution.
LIVE Sessions
LIVE Presenations by team members.
Each team to come together 3 times a week and give an update on the project.
Advantage is that you will do a mock-interview.

Build sample test data
Simple Test Cases through IDE only for testing basic things like Title, Header, Text content for each main page.
Create a Link crawler that will test for any broken URLS or links. It can also capture all the links, titles on our website.
Email crawler. Capture all emails on the website.
Data Driven Framework to test the Share and Host functionalities
Hybrid Framework (either from scratch or implement the one from Training) and customize all the above Test Cases.
Cross browser testing, Detailed HTML reports, Email notifications for critical defects.
Selenium (little IDE), lot of WebDriver, Core Java +JUnit + TestNG.
Maintenance of the Automation scripts must be easy.
Documentation, Comments, Coding standards are extremely critical.
